By submitting this form you certify that you are authorized to 1) execute on behalf of the group/business and 2) accept legal process on behalf of the group/business. By clicking submit you also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Huntington Beach and the Huntington Beach Downtown Business District for liabilities, costs and expenditures, including attorney’s fees and costs of defense, which may occur by reason of use of the streets during Chili at the Beach. By clicking submit, I have read and understand the Chili at the Beach Rules and Regulations and agree to abide by the rules as stated.

VENDORS RULES AND REGULATIONS

BOOTH INFORMATION:

  • Each space is 10’x10’ and will be clearly marked.

  • All vendors are required to bring their own canopies, tables, chairs & tablecloths

  • All canopies must use weights to anchor as it can get very breezy!

  • Vendors MUST only have the product as described and approved on the application. A vendor will be

asked to leave the event if they show up with product not previously agreed to.. This policy is to ensure

the success of all our vendors and to avoid the mistake of trying to sell product which competes with our

downtown businesses.

  • Vendors must have prominent signage identifying company name

  • Electricity is available in most booths. Vendors must provide: 100 ft. cord, power strip, energy saving

lights. Please advise if you are going to require electricity.

  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after August 21st, 2025.

  • The HBDBID assesses a $35 fee for returned checks

  • Vendors are not guaranteed space in the location of their choice

  • The HBDBID has the right to prohibit and/or evict (without refund or assumption of liability for lost sales or

expenses) any presentation or person who is in any manner deemed offensive or unprofessional.

  • Vendors must provide their own display and must conform to the assigned space.

  • All vendors must provide upon request the following:

1. Seller’s Permit – Listing Huntington Beach on the sellers permit.

2. Liability Insurance

STREET CLOSURE:

  • Event Hours: Saturday, August 23rd - 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

  • A presence of the permittee must be maintained in the space assigned until 4:00 pm. No early take downs are allowed.

  • You are expected to CLEAN UP after yourself. Please take your trash (cardboard boxes, etc) with you so

our receptacles can be available for visitors.

  • (2) Parking tickets from the Main Promenade lot (located between Olive and Walnut) will be validated by

the BID. Parking stub must be brought to the main BID ticket booth for

validation.

GENERAL EVENT TIMING

• 8am: SET-UP: Load in begins

• 10am: Set up deadline; all vehicles must be off Main Street

• 11am: Ticket Booth opens

• 4pm: Take down can begin

• 6pm: All vendors must vacate Main Street to allow for re-opening
