The Huntington Beach Downtown Business Improvement District (HBDBID) holds regular meetings on the second Thursday of every month unless otherwise noted.  Meetings are usually held at Legends-Surf City. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting, except for Special Meetings which are posted 24 hours in advance.


As the Advisory Board for the City of Huntington Beach's Downtown Business Improvement District, the HBDBID operates under the guidelines of the Ralph M. Brown Act regarding Open Meetings and Agenda notification.  All meetings are open to the Public.  The public is provided an opportunity to comment at the beginning of the meeting regarding items of interest or agenda items.  Pursuant to the Brown Act, the Board of Directors may not enter into discussion regarding items not on the agenda.  Each speaker is allowed 3 minutes, and time may not be donated to another speaker, unless otherwise allowed by the presiding officer.
